Lack of compassion, empathy, & decency

I signed a lease for this property but canceled prior to move-in due to significant family circumstances involving life and death and never took possession of the unit. I paid funds toward the rental and received only a partial refund after cancellation. My experience was that there was very little flexibility or compassion when unexpected life circumstances arose, and a dispute followed regarding the return of prepaid funds. Based on my reading of the lease, I did not find a provision specifically addressing retention of funds when a tenant cancels prior to occupancy, and I was not provided with an itemized accounting supporting the amount retained. Prospective tenants should ensure they fully understand how prepaid funds would be handled if plans change unexpectedly. They should also research the neighborhood carefully. The unit was only held for me for 9 days, yet a significant amount of funds were retained even after it was re-rented the same month.

Comfortable, Well-Equipped Studio with Great Parking

I stayed at this property for 3 months and had a great experience. Its located in a safe neighborhood and includes individual parking. The studio is well-equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Cecilia is an amazing landlord,responsive, kind, and easy to communicate with. Id definitely recommend this place.

Very Accommodating

Both Bill and Cecilia were so kind and accommodating. They were very helpful and every way anytime I had questions about grocery stores or anything like that. Bill even brought his son over to take the hitch off my car for me so I wouldn't have to drive around town with it all the time just very phenomenal couple and very kind Apartment was as well!

Super Awesome Place

We love it here, both B & C are great landlords! Will stay here again if I get another contract with UNM
