Clean and Quiet
Stayed in Kate and Jims 1 bedroom basement apartment for 11 months.It Fit my needs very well after a 10 hour workday. Kitchenette with appliances, Bathroom , Bedroom, living area with TV . Also very quiet , neighborhood is safe and charming. Kate and Jim are gracious hosts. Thank you for allowing me to stay and being so welcoming.

This property is perfect for that traveler or someone transitioning to the area. Kat and Jim are pleasant and very inviting . Every thing you need is in the apartment . I would recommend this property to everyone .

Beautiful neighborhood
Beautiful neighborhood I have enjoyed 7 months (from March to November,2023) staying in this basement apartment. It has everything that is needed for day to day living. The kitchen has spacious cabinets and refrigerator, breakfast nook, microwave, toaster, hotplate, coffeemaker, washer and dryer. Trolley is just at the end of the street. Great walking area. Grocery, CVS - easy to walk. Beautiful street with lovely homes. Friendly neighbors.

Excellent location
Kate and Jim are great hosts. I stayed with them for 4 months. The house is located in a very picturesque old fashioned European style neighborhood. The basement apartment is cozy with windows and a separate entrance. There is plenty of privacy. The proximity to public transportation is a huge plus. The University of Pennsylvania is only 15 minutes away. Excellent price.

Very comfortable place.
I rented this place for 6 weeks and was very satisfied with my stay. The place was clean and had all of the necessary appliances to make my stay comfortable. The hosts were welcoming and polite. The apartment is located in the basement of a single family house, so if you are looking for a sunny apartment this is not for you. However, it has a separate entrance and windows so there is natural light and plenty of privacy. Parking and laundry on site were very convenient also.
