What a gem of a place!
I enjoyed my stay here so much I extended my stay by a few months. The location is absolutely perfect - the quarter, public transit options, the treme, and the marigny are all super close. The place itself is a wonderful space rich in history and a quiet escape. Karin is so incredibly nice, responsive, and helpful with any questions as well. I'd absolutely stay here again given the opportunity and definitely recommend it to anyone reading this to consider it.
Wonderful 3month stay
I lived here for three months during my nursing contract and absolutely loved it. Karin my landlord was amazing, communication was wonderful, and any issue was immediately taken care of. My neighbors were awesome and so friendly. The space was very clean, updated and the beds were very comfortable. It is in a great location, you could easily walk, take the street car or take an Uber for 5-6 dollars to anywhere in the French quarter. I never had an issue finding a parking spot on the street and I felt safe. It was very spacious and my visitors were very comfortable as well. I am so thankful I was able to stay here for my entire contract.
Five Stars
If you haven't lived in New Orleans before, valuable information: This is about as close to the perfect location as you can possibly get. You can see the Quarter from your bedroom window, but you're about a block and a half away -- just enough distance to make it very private and quiet, outside the action. If you're trying to experience the city for a few months, this is as New Orleans as it gets. The house was wonderful and well-maintained. Nice, quiet courtyard to read, eat, whatever you need to do. It's a very historic property, so I was surprised the inside was as updated as it is. Perfect for one or two people to live in. Finally Karin was a wonderful landlord, very very friendly, quick and attentive. I never had a problem that wasn't solved in under 24 hours, and beyond that, just very personable and easy to get along with. Highly recommend this place!
French Quarter/Treme - freshly remodeled
This property is an absolute gem. It is located 1/2 block away from the French Quarter and is littered with restaurants and cafes in the Treme. K is an amazing landlord and helped with any requests I had. I couldn't rate this property higher!
Fantastic Location & Tons of Space
First of all, the propertyy manager can make or break your stay, and the manager Karen is fantastic! She's always available via text and responds within minutes. I lived in New Orleans for 8 years, and know first hand that this kind of care is a rarity. The apartment is large, with a living room, dining room/second bedroom and kichen on the first floor. The bathroom is upstairs off of the main bedroom with a walk in closet larger than some NYC bedrooms. My only complaint about this layout is that if you are using the downstairs bedroom as a second bedroom, they will have to walk through the upstairs bedroom to use the bathroom. Since we are a couple, this wasn't an issue, but we did have a friend visit and this layout wasn't ideal during that time. That being said, the apartment is very well taken care of, clean, and on a beautiful historic street. The FQ is right across the street, and all furniture and cooking supplies are provided. Thanks Karen for making our stay perfect!
