Perfect Little Place

I stayed here for a year and it was everything I needed. The layout of this apartment makes it feel much larger than a studio and it has all the amenities you need. I was initially worried about not having an oven/stove but there is a hot plate and toaster oven that worked great. I was able to cook everything just fine. The ceiling is on the shorter side but is comfortable for anyone under 5'10". It is a close walk to the Orange Line which made getting to work at MGH easy and cheap. The best part of my stay was the landlord and handyman, who were incredibly responsive and helpful (including shoveling the walkway, helping with important mail deliveries, and at one point emptying my recycling for me <3). I was sad to leave this place and hope to find something this great next time I come back to Boston.

Amazing Apartment

I stayed here for 6 months and didn't want to leave! Marie was so helpful and amazing to rent from, always willing to work with me on move in and move out dates, and very responsive when I had any sort of issue. Probably my favorite apartment I've ever rented. So cozy, well furnished, amazing natural light, loved the balcony and entryway space. The ceilings took a little getting used to but then it wasn't an issue at all. If I ever come back to Boston I will rent again!

I lived here three months for a travel contract for work and it was perfect for me. Marie was great and very helpful throughout my stay. Very nice area and close to a lot as well.

Convenient and Cozy

I spent almost a year in this basement apartment, towards the end it started feeling like home. Marie, the landlord, was EXTREMELY responsive and always addressed any concerns I had right away. Great location, super convenient, and most importantly the rent was very reasonable. It is a basement apartment, so the ceiling is on the lower side, so just keep that in mind. (I am 5'6" and it was perfect for me.) Street parking requires permit (can apply for one as a contract worker), so Marie helped me find another solution. If I ever have the opportunity to work in the area again, I would definitely return!
