Located centrally in the popular neighborhood of Turnagain, both rich with history and flavor. Turnagain and the adjacent Spenard neighborhood are riddled with popular parks, green spaces, trails, community gathering spots, eateries and local shops. Within minutes of grocery stores, restaurants, shops, outdoor adventure and much, much more.
Good location
Sarah is a very nice Landlord who lives on the top level of the house in case you need anything. Her house is 15 minute bike ride from the coastal Trail and overall a nice area. A grocery store is a five minute walk, as you can walk to restaurants and bars as well. Kitchen is very well stocked if you'd like to cook. There is a surprising amount of light that comes in for being a basement apt. If you're a light sleeper, there is a clicking sound in the bedroom of the pipes, contracting and expanding when the heat is on. Didn't bother me too much but some visitors thought it was loud. Other than that, it's a great place!
