2 bedroon, 2 bath with pool - beautiful location and comfortable home.

We rented the 2 bedroom, 2 bath home downstairs from this studio last year for 6 weeks and recommend this unit highly. If you enjoy a relaxed comfortable home, a great landlord and a beautiful pool and yard out back talk to Geoff about the place. We brought our bikes and could store them in the yard safely and the area is quiet, flat for biking but close to the beautiful "Venice of America", the walking mall along the river with lots of restaurants, shops and gorgeous homes of famous people. Even took a boat tour of the area where they explained who lives there and owns the many yachts in the area. The house even has a baby grand piano that my husband loved.

Best Decision!

Look no further and book this place! We had a fantastic stay at this property! The place was clean and well-maintained. It was also incredibly peaceful, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The view was absolutely stunning, adding to the overall charm of the place. The host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Geoffrey was incredibly responsive & helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place!

I strongly advise against renting from this landlord due to serious safety concerns, poor communication, and unprofessional behavior.

I do not recommend renting from this landlord. My unit was infested with termitesthere were droppings, live termites, and damage to the walls. I reported it several times, but it wasnt handled properly. He also entered the unit without notice and had chemicals sprayed while my cat was inside, putting her at risk. He didnt lock the door afterward, leaving my belongings exposed. We mutually agreed to end the lease early due to the infestation, and I left the unit spotless with video proof. Still, hes refused to return my security deposit and has ignored all my messages. On top of that, he verbally threatened to throw my things in the pool because I was still in the unit at 10 PMeven though the lease legally ended at midnight. The entire experience was stressful and unprofessional. If you choose to rent here, document everything and be extremely cautious.

My response to this 25 yr old tenant & her mother , FF and any FFer's tenant inquiry is as follows. I did everything I could to assist, advise and attempt to have this young lady's stay remain as comfortable as possible at all times. I find the tenant's comments grossly untruthful, ungrateful and disrespectful. I've been renting many years and I pride myself in being the best of landlords in quality accommodations with honesty and integrity. This is a preferred and safe neighborhood where I do all I can to maintain the best of everything . I had two termite contractors come and inspect the property for infestation. They BOTH concluded and state that there's no infestation or the nesting of termites in the unit whatsoever. I'd had the place tented approx 18 mths prior to and there hasn't been a single termite found or seen in the unit since her evacuation. When you leave the windows and doors open during the short swarming season the results are obvious and I repeatedly advised her of this. I've been renting for many years and it's my policy that if people want to break a lease for good reasons then it's to everyone's benefit to wind it up and move on. This young lady was uncomfortable, regardless of my advice and the mother was paying good money so an easy decision for me to agree to terminate the lease . They're from Ohio /Oklahoma and I'm advised they don't have the presence of bugs etc. that we do in the tropics so I get it and not uncommon that the pest people encounter the same problem with the Nthern and mid western population's. The tenant was working M-F from 9-6 pm mostly, and I'd appropriately gained her consent to enter the unit for inspection etc . The mother was dishonest in her rental application phone conversations too which became apparent upon the daughter's arrival. It was a contractual rental agreement for the daughter only, and perhaps the mother on occasion too, with no mention of the inclusion that different boyfriends would come and go and stay a week or two throughout the tenancy. I'm clearly not partial to bus stop style accom's with unknown and unintroduced individuals showing up , specifically young men staying the night from time to time unless specifically named, included and agreed upon in the contract agreement to which I would not have agreed to. The mother never once came to the unit to inspect the circumstances for herself or so much as introduce herself during her visit to Ft lauderdale Then there was the problem with the cat . She left the unit in a state of cat stink with cat hair shed under the bed and thro - out. In addition, I observed that it would hide under the bed covers between the sheets when I was in there with the contractors to follow up on her termite concerns. Hygiene is my responsibility to all inbound tenants and it's common knowledge that a cat carries all sorts of bacteria and I addressed that with this tenant. ( Plse note ) I clearly state in my FF rental terms that there's a $ 500 security deposit that includes a $150 cleaning fee upon contract conclusion and a minimal $350.00 coverage for any property damage. This tenant left the unit stinking of cat requiring a ' DEEP Clean ' along with her rotting kitchen garbage and a damaged teak and Holly table that I had asked that she keep covered with the provided plastic cover to prevent any damage to which she didn't, leaving the cover folded in the closet despite my repeated requests. I have returned $250.00 of the $500 security deposit charging the $150.00 cleaning fee and a nominal $100.00 fee for damage to the surface of the teak and Holly Table with her heavy sewing machine and sharp items despite my repeated requests to leave the protective cover on. In conclusion, my sincere thanks to FF that they justly provide the tenant And landlord the opportunity to respond to their experiences at their wish. Furnished Finders Rental services are the best of the rental app's in my years of renting.
