Absolutely amazing stay

Har and Brendan are amazing people and always willing to chat and help. The ocean view from the unit was absolutely gorgeous, especially during sunset, and I loved how it changes every day! There's a 5-min short walk to a complex with a very friendly grocery store and a few good restaurant (highly recommend the Vietamese place). We loved walking to the pier / beach (~15 mins) to watch people sports fishing (it's always very exciting, we saw people pulling up dungeness crabs and striped bass) and all the whales hunting! We stayed during the peak whale season and we could see humpbacks every day and sometimes many of them at the same time. Pacifica is a very peaceful and friendly little town, so much so that I couldn't believe it's so close to San Francisco. We stayed there because of my summer internship with Genentech, and the commute was only 20 mins (maximum 30 mins during peak traffic), so it was very doable.

The PERFECT home away from home

As a traveler you could not ask for a better home away from home! The ocean views are stunning, the area is very quiet, easy, walkable distance to the pier and local restaurants on the north end of Pacifica, The home is very cozy. I worked in Redwood City at Sequoia Hospital and had (at worst) a 35 minute commute (thanks to construction) but normally 28 minutes. The house has all the amenities you need! If not, communicate with the hosts; they are happy to help you get whatever it is! (I've never met more amiable hosts!!) This place is as bright as you could ask for- the shades on ALL the windows provide night-shifters with the room darkening you need for daytime sleep. The area is close enough to San Francisco for big city convenience with a sleepy Cali coastal town vibe. I would give this place an 11/10 and would gladly stay there again!
