We live on a 30 acre property along with our property caretaker and have an additional lofted cabin that is available for short term rentals. There is a firepit right out the front door along with swings and string lights for a lovely area to relax. We are raising two horses, some chickens, a dog and two cats on the property. They won't bother you, but they welcome any petting if you happen to see them. You may see deer walking...
Space
The bedroom is a loft and is not private. We also weekend rent the cabin and it's fine for 2 people in that case, but speaking from experience because we lived in the cabin while we were building our main house, it is more comfortable for a single person when you are staying for a month or more.
