Mixed Experience - A Couple of Pros, Mainly Cons

I booked this unit for 3 months but left after less than a month due to several issues. When I arrived, the unit was still dirty despite being told it would be cleaned. A couple weeks in, my new carparked in the drivewaywas scratched and dented overnight. There were no exterior cameras, so I couldnt determine what happened. While I understand this was outside the landlords control, it still occurred on their property. The final and most serious issue was finding rat droppings on the kitchen counter and on the bed, and seeing a rat climb into the kitchen cupboards. Pest control was sent the next day, but I continued finding droppings afterward. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable staying. Pros were the walkable neighborhood and the property managers quick communication. Cons were the lack of cleanliness, the damage to my vehicle, the rat in the unit, and the landlords unwillingness to offer a refund or let me out of the contract early.
