Lower level of single family home on gorgeous wooded 2 acres with a creek. Deer often stroll through and you will likely hear an owl in the night. Plenty of wildlife around! The house is located towards the end of a dead end street and the properties are very spread out so there is a lot of privacy.

Private 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment is in the walkout basement completely separate from the upper level. Zoned heating - you control your own thermostat! HEATED FLOORS keep it cozy in the winter. Stays cool in summer. Private entrance with living room, kitchenette and bedroom. Laundry is also in-unit but shared with myself. We will come to an agreement on when I am able to enter and do laundry, I will never enter without permiss...
Neighborhood overview
Very private and quiet area towards the end of a dead end street. The area is right on the border of where suburbs turn rural. Surrounding neighbors have chickens, horses, farms etc, but a quick 5 minute drive will take you to a busy street full of shopping and restaurants like Chicago classics Portillos/Lou Malnatis.

Nice little place
Beautiful little place! Enjoyed my 3 month stay. Looks exactly like the pictures! *not the best for a night shifter*

Great stay!
Downstairs unit is huge and there is plenty of space. Kristen was a great host and always answered and gave plenty of recs for the area. Highly recommend for anyone needing a place in the area!

Amazing stay!
It has been great living here! All of the amenities have been great and helpful. The property is beautiful and provides a great atmosphere. The full-size fridge has been very useful as well as the microwave and air fryer. The bathroom works perfectly. The bedroom is roomy with plenty of closet space and a nice size queen bed. There are plenty of places to eat and to get groceries within 5 minutes of the property. The property owner has been incredibly nice and helpful during my stay as well! Highly recommend!

Rural setting with 100 year old oak trees throughout property. Private one-bedroom apartment with walkout basement looking out towards a creek that runs through back with seating area. Open farmland just west down McDonald Road, shopping and restaurants along Randall Road just 5 minutes east. Full size fridge with microwave, air fryer, washer and dryer. Well-maintained property, quiet, and owner responsive to any requests.
