I had to refer to the rental laws to get adequate heating.

My interaction with the host about basic rental requirements was identical to dealing with a bad landlord. I stayed in winter, this apartment was cold, and to make the hosts keep the temperature adequate, I had to look up the WA State code, buy a thermometer, record temps, and send a formal request to the host to keep the temperature up to the code. I got a personal insult from the host, that it was my peculiar preference to stay warm. The bathroom had 61 F. To stay there, you need: 1. Two portable electric heaters (bathroom + liv. room). I had one and then bought another one. 2. Be prepared to research the laws and defend your legal rights when dealing with the hosts. 3. Get your own PO box. The hosts said to be bringing my mail every week, but it was between every week and every three weeks. Good: The place is large, the kitchen has everything you need, the hosts and the area are quiet. On a workday, drive to Seattle I-5 downtown exits takes 30 minutes with regular traffic.

Great stay with great hosts!

5 stars all the way around. The unit has everything you need for an extended stay, super bright and open with tons of room. Everything you need within a short drive and easy to hop on the highway. Aurora and Micah were excellent hosts, communication was great and overall I was very happy with my stay here.

Welcoming Home

From day one of moving into this rental I felt at home. This beautiful rental boasts a large living space with EVERYTHING you'd ever need! From a comfortable queen bed to a large and cozy living space with entertainment, and a kitchen with every utensil and cooking ware you'd need this home has it all. I cannot say enough about the lovely surrounding environment as well with a beautiful deck and view of the backyard. Aurora and Micah were the best hosts I have ever had with a rental. They're friendly, responsive, accommodating, flexible, and you can tell they truly care about your experience when here. Lastly, above all, nothing beats being greeted by their beautiful dog, Ripley, a Formosan Mountain Dog, that greets you at the door and escorts you to your home with love. She became a best friend and made that home that much more special. If I was moving out of state I'd stay here long term. It has everything you'd need!

Fantastic place and people

Aurora and Micah were great, as was there ADU. The unit itself was well laid out with a bedroom, plenty of closet space, an efficient kitchen, and high ceilings which gave the feeling of a lot larger space. Their yard is a beautiful garden with sitting area and privacy. Both Aurora and Micah we friendly and welcoming. They even had a dedicated parking space. The location was very convenient for groceries and access to the freeways without being in a busy crowded neighborhood. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend their place!

Peace, comfort, and location!

We stayed here for a full 3 months and it pleased us more than we anticipated. Firstly, the apartment is incredibly clean and functional. You can find whatever you need in the kitchen. The bed is brand new and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Aurora is very helpful and communication is very easy. The entire process was smoothly completed from start to finish. I definitely recommend this secure place that is in the city and yet amidst nature. A home truly immersed in nature. You can sit on the patio and breathe in the fresh air among the trees. The shower was simply amazing. The water pressure and temperature were really perfect. Shampoo, shower gel, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, and even laundry detergent are provided by A, and my spouse and I really loved them; they are quite high-quality products. We can easily tell that A has approached every detail with the care as if she were preparing her own home to live in. We felt at home. Thanks A! H & R
