Excellent Option!
My fiance and I stayed at Mike's Sherrod Rd. property for around three months this past fall, and we highly recommend it to anyone considering a move to Knoxville! Mike was accommodating, flexible, and responsive throughout our entire stay. Whether it was helping us with something at the house or recommending places to go/things to see around Knoxville, Mike was right there to help us through it all. If we ever decide to head back down there, we will definitely be going through Mike and his properties!
Incredibly stressful.
This is a 2 unit upstairs/downstairs house. Had major plumbing issues that back flowed from the upstairs into the downstairs bathroom when the tub drained. Sewage backed up from toilet and tub. Overflowed into flooring. Was disgusting and landlord waited 5 days to cap off sewer line knowing our pets were in the unit. My son had no choice but to clean up the backflow and catch the nasty overflow with a bucket. The owner has no emergency plan in place! Doesn't answer his phone in the evening and took 14 hours to get in a plumber when it first started. We moved upstairs as was planned days before but he tried to force us out because we had given him our 30 day notice. Once he knew we were leaving and he wasn't making more $ he was very difficult and inconsiderate.. I had him pro-rate our rent and paid through the 21st the day of our closing. He demanded we leave at noon even though paid up thru the 21st. I can write 3 pages of issues with both units but not enough room, unfortunately.
