Amazing Experience, Better Hospitality

We are so very grateful to have found this! I am a local Realtor, and had clients relocating here and needed a home for about a month while they finished finding a home. My clients didn't want a hotel or a "normal" apartment, they said that would have felt less like a home and more like a doctor's office. When we found this place, it really was a true blessing for them to find somewhere to adjust to life in Charleston without feeling like they were living in a stale and emotion-less hotel. Add to that, the homeowner went out of her way to make sure they were advised of the local area and given some "Must Do's" in the James Island area. This place truly was like a home to them...I will be recommending this place to ALL future clients in need of short term housing...the location, warmth of the home, and hospitality are truly unmatched.

James Island Oasis

I can't say enough positive things about this amazing property. There was so much intentionality put into all of the details- and it shows, I have never felt more home away from home. Each of the rooms has such a unique aesthetic, at times I forgot I was in South Carolina and felt like I was in a modern NYC penthouse. From the colors to the furniture and the amazing artwork, I felt so inspired during my stay. It's in a great location, walking distance to bars/restaurants in Riverland Terrace and the amazing James Island Yoga (highly recommend), an easy 10 minute drive to Folly Beach or Downtown Charleston. Really the perfect amount of space to get away from the crowds and feel really connected to the local community. So many amazing areas in this house, but my top was the outdoor patio. I would take my tea out here in the evenings and read, or have dinner and put on a little music and relax. This place is absolutely perfect.

Beautiful Stay Close to Downtown + Beach

Rs escapade is a beautiful home on James Island! I needed a place to stay while my home was being renovated, and this place was perfect for my family of 3 (+ our small dog.) The backyard was very spacious, perfect for our son and pet to run around in the evening while we enjoyed relaxing on the screened-in porch. We loved the open kitchen, and the downstairs area was the perfect spot for our son to do his homework and watch TV in. I personally loved all of the artwork and decor located throughout the house! We were 5 minutes from downtown and 10 minutes from the beach - and my husband loved being within walking distance of the Municipal golf course. There were some great restaurants and bars nearby, too. We loved walking down to the Pourhouse for live music + the weekend farmers market, grabbing dinner at Azul, or popping into Bar George for a late night drink. Would highly recommend Rs Escapade!
