I was hesitant with a room rental as I had only rented studios with previous travel assignments, but was extremely pleased with renting from Chris while on travel assignment in Carbondale. Chris is a lovely person; easy going, fun loving, considerate, and supportive. She was my live-in landlord who I now proudly call my friend. Chris's house is comfortable in all rooms so I never felt isolated to my bedroom rental space :) . Chris demonstrates a love for the outdoors and respectfully participates in recycling and composting. Following my first month of commuting from Glenwood Springs in unbelievable traffic, I found Chis's rental to be an ideal location for work in Carbondale as well as Glenwood Springs as travel direction was opposite of rush hours. Her house is walking distance to Main Street in downtown for restaurants, shopping, Post Office, and attending First Fridays! For the traveler looking for the perfect landing, I highly recommend Chris's Bungalow rental!

A Truly Memorable Stay

I recently had the pleasure of renting from Chris, and I cant express enough how wonderful my experience was. As a young woman searching for a quiet and safe space, I found so much more than I had hoped for. Chris went above and beyond, making me feel like her home was truly my home away from home. She was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Carbondale is such a fantastic area for anyone who loves the outdoorsits safe, family-friendly, and full of charm. I commuted every day by bus, and the stop was conveniently close enough for me to bike or use the Carbondale commuter. Living here was amazing, and it wouldnt have been the same without Chriss warmth and support. If youre considering moving to Carbondale or renting this cozy bungalow, I wholeheartedly recommend it. Youll find a welcoming community and a landlord who truly cares.

Best Little Bungalow Around

This cozy home is situated perfectly between Glenwood Springs and Aspen for easy commute either direction. The room is smaller but plenty of closet space for storage and a comfy bed. The public spaces are roomy and comfortable. Carbondale is a cute outdoorsy community with a picture perfect setting under beautiful mount Sopris. Easy access to skiing, hiking, biking, rafting and close to public transport. The live in landlord is easygoing and friendly while accommodating your personal time and space. She is a long time resident of the area and is happy to share local spots for fun, food, skiing, hiking, biking and touring. Price is definitely right, especially for this area. If I chance to return to this area for work I'll return to this Bungalow to stay.
