5 star home
Frank and Brynn were absolutely wonderful hosts! They were always responsive, had great communication, and made the entire stay seamless from start to finish. The home truly felt like a home away from home — comfortable, cozy, and thoughtfully set up for a longer stay. The backyard and deck were my personal favorite part. Watching the sunset out there and seeing deer almost every day was such a peaceful way to unwind. It’s located in a beautiful, family-friendly neighborhood that felt incredibly safe and welcoming, while still being close to everything you need. Charlottesville is such a hidden treasure of a town. From the hospital to downtown and even easy driving distance to Shenandoah National Park, we felt so lucky to spend our travel nursing contract there. This house was the perfect place for us during our time in Charlottesville, and I would absolutely recommend staying here!
Great comfortable stay with great view and host!
I had a wonderful experience renting this property. The house itself was great, clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The view from the back deck was a standout feature and made the stay even more enjoyable. Frank and Brynn were extremely responsive and accommodating, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!
Stunning, Comfortable, Well Located!
This is probably the best rental experience my wife and I have ever had. It's right on the beautiful Rivanna trail which runs along a small creek. Wildlife abounds in the trail itself, as well as in the yard. The house itself is not only well decorated, it's well stocked with the things you'll need. The kitchen, especially, was a delight to use. The sitting room catches a lot of sun throughout the day as well. Charlottesville is a wonderful place- this is a fantastic house- can't go wrong.
Pleasant stay with accommodating host!
I can't say enough great things about Frank and Brynn and the stay I had at their place. I was in between homes and needed a short-term rental and this could not have worked out better for me! I communicated primarily with Frank who was friendly, thoughtful, and responsive. Check-in and check-out were smooth. Frank made sure I had all the necessary information ahead of time and was readily available for any questions. The house is a charming older ranch-style home near downtown. It's a peaceful neighborhood, and the neighbors were very friendly. There is a new trail that connects directly to the backyard and connects to another popular hiking trail. The home is well-furnished and the kitchen was amply stocked with plenty of cookware, utensils, dinnerware, glassware, mugs, coffee maker, kettle, and coffee grinder. All the kitchen appliances are newer and high quality. The beds are very comfortable - one firm mattress, one more plush mattress. Extra bed sheets, pillows, and blankets were provided. The back bedroom/office has a nice adjustable standing desk and large monitor which was super useful since I work from home. It also has a nice daybed and television. The back deck was a major highlight of the stay, a tranquil spot to sip coffee and relax with some fresh air. If I ever need a short-term rental in the future, I will definitely look to rent Frank and Brynn's home again!
Clean, cozy, welcoming charmer
Frank and Brynns house couldnt have been a lovelier place to stay. The home is clean, nicely refinished, and they thought of every detail (down to a shower speaker, and a great standing desk + monitor WFH setup) to make my stay comfortable. I loved sitting on the back porch, and the easy access to the Rivanna Trail. I would recommend to my closest friends - this place is the BEST! Exceeded my already high expectations.
Great place to stay and enjoy!
I did a three month contract at MJ (10min drive) and stayed here while on assignment. The house was clean and tidy and nicely decorated. I really enjoyed the view from the back porch, the comfortable bed, the updated kitchen and stove. There is access to two trails right from the back yard as well. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to the area. The landlord was easy to communicate with and gave good recommendations on the area.
