LOVED IT!

I loved his second floor studio and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Everything was very clean and all of the starter supplies provided were very helpful. There were hangers in the closet and storage bins that slid under the bed. It is very spacious and the bed is so comfortable. The unit gets tons of natural light but since I was working night shift, David went to the trouble to cover the skylights with shades. He was very responsive and a great communicator. The only issues I had were a slight problem with the fridge and the toilet. The fridge has a built in freezer compartment inside and the no matter how I adjusted it, the temperature of the fridge was always either not cool enough and my frozen stuff thawed or too cold and my fridge stuff froze. Additionally, the toilet when flushed sometimes gets a pressure buildup and splashes water up onto the seat (even when flushed with the lid down). Both of these were super minor inconveniences and overall the place was perfect!

Great Place!

I had a great experience living at this unit. Everything was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. The owner was always professional and very responsive whenever I had a question or needed assistance. Any requests were handled quickly and responsibly, which made my stay stress-free. Overall, it was a great place to live, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and well-managed unit.

Amazing Short Stay

This place exceeded my expectations. It was very clean and well kept. All the appliances were in working order. I also enjoyed the natural light in the unit and it was very cozy. David was also very responsive when I needed something or had a question. First day instructions were also very simple. I also had no issues with the other tenants everyone was kind and respectful. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe in the area and had no issues. It was also close proximity to where I worked and close to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops. Overall, if I take another contract out here, this is the place to be. The Martin family went above and beyond to make this place a home away from home.

Convenient & Cozy

This top floor studio was perfect for my travel job working at St. Joes! Less than a 2 minute walk makes all the difference. Comfortable bed, awesome washer/dryer and close to everything. Stocked with everything and the huge bathroom is a plus. Id stay here again no questions asked!

The location is another huge pluscentral to Tacoma and just a short drive from major hospitals like MultiCare Tacoma General and St. Joseph Medical Center. Whether you're commuting for work or exploring the city, everything is easily accessible. I highly recommend this rental to any traveler looking for a clean, safe, and well-managed place to stay. Id absolutely stay here again!

Excellent Stay for My Travel Assignment

I had a great experience staying in this apartment during my travel assignment. The unit was exactly as picturedclean, well-maintained, and move-in ready. The location was also a huge plus, with easy access to the interstate and just minutes from downtown Tacoma. The landlord was extremely attentive and responsive. When I needed a minor repair, they addressed it promptly and kept me informed throughout the process. They also ensured great communication and even notified me about my alarm, showing genuine concern for my safety. Their professionalism and polite demeanor made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this rental to any traveler looking for a comfortable, convenient, and well-managed place to stay!

At home in Tacoma

For my first contract in Washington, I couldn't have asked for a better spot. Complete with all the amenities and beautiful modern appliances, this spacious apartment was everything I needed and then some. David was very attentive and quick to respond each time I needed something. From the gated property to the private parking, I never felt worried about my safety. The location is just a short drive down the hill to all the highways, with some great views of the city from the top. I'm going to miss having views of Mt. Rainier from the end of my block! Happy to have had such a great place to stay during my time in Tacoma.

Amazing stay!

I was in one of the upper units and it was an absolutely great stay. The studio is roomy and decorated very cozy. The appliances all worked great. The place was stocked with linens and other useful things which made it super convenient and comfy. The landlord was very communicative and responded very quickly always. Checking in was easy and clear because of the instructions given. I also felt very secure in my unit with the way the locks and gates were set up. I was here for a few months and it was one of the coziest stays yet!!

Great owners and comfortable stay!

Studio on the ground floor is huge, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with quality appliances. The owners are extremely helpful and understanding. Other tenants are completely separated and respectful. There were no issues with safety as the units are very secure and I appreciated the owners giving mobile access to security alarms and cameras. Parking in the back is good for loading/unloading, and street parking is plentiful and convenient. Very walkable for St. Joe's. MultiCare Tacoma General is ~5 min drive, ~20 min walk, there's also the light rail nearby. Note the urban setting comes with houselessness a couple blocks away on neighboring streets. It took me a couple days to get used to but, again, there were never any issues with safety during my stay as a solo female! I would stay again next time I'm in Tacoma.

I stayed at the S J St apartment for about 6 months and had a great experience. The apartment is beautiful and is so close to many awesome restaurants and shops in Tacoma. David was always very fast at communicating whenever I needed anything :)

Amazing Studio in Tacoma

I had the pleasure of staying in the large studio apartment (first floor) during my contract work in Tacoma. I was working at the Multicare Tacoma General Hospital and it was so easy to be able to walk to work every day (~0.7miles) . I felt very safe in this apartment with security cameras and a locked gated parking in the back. I never had any trouble with amazon packages getting delivered to my front door since the gate out front prevented anyone stealing items. I truly loved this unit as it was super clean and spacious. I especially loved the large kitchen since I enjoyed cooking and baking, I really felt it was a home away from home. The apartment is equipped with all the items a traveler would need such as a queen bed, Livingroom space with tv, pots/pans, w/d, coffee machine, dishwasher, storage for personal items and much more. The owners were always responsive and accommodation any time I have an issue or question. From the start of my lease to the end, Elle and David have made my stay in Tacoma a very happy and enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend staying here on your next contract in Tacoma. Owner very responsive and fair in all dealings; well equipped, clean nicely decorated 2 bedroom unit; secured padlock fenced/gate for parking; camera security system. 5 min commute to Multicare Tacoma Generals parking on J street- which is why I chose this location. No troubles witnessed in the neighborhood during my stay- returning home during daylight hours.

This property is a great place to live! It comes equipped with all the necessary appliances and is very nicely decorated and comfortable. Also, a lot of safety features are included: doors locked with codes, motion sensing cameras, alarm system. The owners are super friendly, very hospitable, quick to reply to messages, and always took extra care to make sure our stay was as pleasant as possible. We were even greeted with lit scented candles and various amenities upon arrival! And, of course, the place was very clean and fresh. Put simply, we didn't have to buy or clean anything the day we moved. - SC.
