Fell in love with Swannanoa thanks to this home

A lot of thought has been put into this place. Colleen decorated, furnished and stocked it with the same quality items she did it for her own house, even better! We thoroughly enjoyed the top quality smart appliances and furniture. The best part for us was using the grill on the outside patio and doing our daily walks in the neighborhood, because we fell in love with this part of Swannanoa, such a cute and green place, with lovely people, great quietness and beautiful scenery. It is in fact much smarter to stay here than in Asheville in our opinion! I've personally stayed in many temporary rentals but this is the first one that really felt home. Colleen is super responsive and accommodating, she is such a blessing and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Colleen!

Great house

My husband and I are travel nurses and stayed here for 4 months. It's a great house. Great location. Colleen is always quick to respond. Would definitely stay again.

Best Place Ever!

I cannot express how much we appreciate Colleen and so very thankful for her opening up her home to us. My husband is there in NC doing clean-up work in the waterways. I was looking for a place to feel a little more like home because my husband had been there since February 1st and was missing home and family because we are in South Florida, we found Colleen she was gracious enough to let us have her beautiful home from the end of March until the end of November even though her and husband usually go up and spend a lot of time there and for that we are very thankful. Not only is the house beautiful, in a great location, well just perfect, her and her family are wonderful as well and we can never say thank you enough for giving us a chance to experience the beautiful Swannanoa area and people. My husband is still in the area are just a little farther away, we are looking for own piece of heaven in that area. Best home away from home!

Home away from home

The home has been a wonderful place to stay after I returned back after 3 months of a study trip to India in the world of Buddha. Watching the news in india and seeing now how the surroundings of Asheville are changed from the Hurricane was emotional to me. Thanks for all the rebuilding of towns that are going on to make it home again. This home has been a warm and cozy place to spend time with my children and figuring out things again. The home is very clean, organized with all the modern equipments and lovely furnishings. The host Colleen Akers have been the best in communication, being open and loving host. Felt like talking to my sisters, best of friends as I just came back from india. The home and the area are very safe and the neighborhood is quite and relaxing place to take walks. Making dinners or watching Netflix with a cup of tea on their big screen TV felt like being at home away from home. Sometimes we experience people treat us or we treat others differently than ourselves, once in a while you find best people in the world who make you feel at home. Colleen has been great host, and wonderful person to connect on the Furnished Land. Thank you Colleen and Furnished Land for this opportunity!
