Living in a Garden

I stayed at Hannahs place for 3 months and had an incredible experience. She was an amazing landlord, so accommodating, kind, and genuinely fun to interact with. Shes a great communicator and made everything easy and smooth throughout my stay. Her place is beautiful, comfortable, and fully equipped with all the amenities you could need, really updated. Hannah also knows all the best spots in the city and is always doing fun, interesting things, so her recommendations were a huge bonus. I would absolutely stay here again. I miss her. Highly recommend!

I cannot express how much my cat and I loved our stay here. I contracted with Alta Bates Summit which is a quick walk from the ADU. This was the perfect place for the us and even has a designated private litter corner built in it. The skylights make everything feel brighter and bigger than this place is and is a perfect retreat after busy days in the hospital. The ADU is tucked in the garden surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers. Hannah is amazing - excellent communication and fun to chat with. My cat enjoyed spending time with Hannah from across the glass doors while Hannah was tending to the garden. We are going to miss it here. Highly recommend staying here if youre looking for a serene place thats close to two popular Oakland neighborhoods (Temescal and Piedmont Ave).

Beautiful stay near Kaiser

This beautiful apartment is on a peaceful street with friendly neighbors. I stayed here while working at Kaiser which is a short 5 minute walk to work.(3 minute walk to Summit Medical ctr.) Being that I worked nights, the blackout blinds in the bedroom were just what I needed to get a peaceful sleep during the day. The kitchen is gorgeous and fully stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. The appliances are top notch. Hannah really put a lot of work into this place and it was greatly appreciated. The bathtub is amazing and was a nice touch to the trendy upgraded bathroom. With WiFi and a smart TV I had everything I needed to enjoy a comfortable stay. Hannah is friendly and always responded in a timely manner if I needed to reach her. If you dont plan to cook there are plenty of great restaurants in walking distance as well as grocery stores! I will definitely stay here again!

Secluded, Sunny, Sanguine

This backyard cottage has a peaceful garden to enjoy sit in, and view through all the large windows. The bedroom/loft feels like sleeping in the trees/sky, but also dark enough through the night. It's in a quiet area, with close walking distance to Kaiser, a park, Piedmont Street shops and Telegraph Street restaurants. The artsy vibe and cute attention to detail made it fun and peaceful to enjoy the space. The kitchen is gorgeous, all new fancy appliances, including a stove that is safe to touch even when it's hot! The owner was friendly and jolly. My favorite part was the bathtub. A truly relaxing experience.

Spacious cottage

The space feels so much bigger than is is! There are so many windows and skylights! The neighborhood is so quiet. Everything you need is a 15 minute walk away to Piedmont Ave, and all the shops and restaurants. BART is a quick walk, for easy access to SF. Hannah is a great landlord! I would highly recommend this ADU!
