Immaculate vibes

My 3 month stay turned into 7 months because this spot is just that good. The home is conveniently located in Bernal Heights and is super cute and cozy. The room has a good sized closet, a dresser, smart TV, and a comfy bed, plus the most adorable sunny pink bathroom, a vibey patio, and the best roommates you could ask for. Steve is honestly one of the kindest, most genuine people Ive ever met. He'll make you feel so welcomed and comfortable. At one point I accidentally bumped his truck and he was more concerned about me than anything else. Oh and his BBQ is top tier the ribs, oxtails, and chicken are fire. Summer is the sweetest! Shes super supportive, a bartender, and makes delicious drinks. We'd have our venting sessions on the deck with cocktails, aw good times. And their daughter is the absolute sweetest kid joyful, kind, and the coolest little soul. A million times over Id recommend staying here. I had a wonderful time and Im sure you will too! :)

Welcoming host

I had the pleasure of staying with Steve and his family over the summer, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Steve is a wonderful host. He warm, welcoming, and always open-hearted. He keeps a clean space (hes got a Wednesday cleaning routine) and makes sure you feel comfortable from day one. The location is both safe and convenient. Steve knows many of his neighbors, which adds a real sense of community. Just a 15-minute walk away is Cortland Street, a charming neighborhood full of cozy coffee shops, local stores, and lovely gift shops. P.S. Steves ex-wife and their beautiful child live in the unit downstairs. Both are respectful and kind. Summer, his ex-wife, is especially helpful and makes a mean margarita!

The Best Host and the Best Stay!

I stayed here for six months while doing an internship in San Francisco, and I highly recommend it! The room was spacious and clean, and I loved that I could freely use the kitchen - it really made my stay comfortable. If I could have extended my internship, I definitely would have stayed here longer. Everything I needed for daily life was provided: a hairdryer, hangers, clean bathroom, kitchenware, and more. The neighborhood just a short walk uphill is also great - full of good restaurants, two grocery stores, and cute little shops. But what I appreciated the most was the host, Steve. He was incredibly kind, always checking in to make sure I was comfortable, and even shared food with me. Thanks to him, I'm leaving San Francisco with only the best memories.

Perfect stay right next to downtown!

Great place to live when visiting the city! I stayed here for a month while rotating at the hospitals and it was the perfect place! It was in a great location and a very clean and safe neighborhood (I felt safe walking ~1 mi to work and <5 mins to bus stops). There's a strip of restaurants/shops (including Safeway) within walking distance and plenty of great places to walk/run around. I loved staying in this quiet neighborhood with direct access to downtown, especially being able to hike at the nearby Bernal Heights park and visit the neighborhoods huge farmers market every Saturday. Everything is kept very clean, and Stephen is extremely generous with sharing the living spaces. I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of a place to stay in SF!

Nice housemates, great neighborhood, great location!

I stayed here during my internship in Chinatown in SF. If you are looking for the house near the downtown in SF, I highly recommend you to consider staying at this property. There are many reasons this can be the best choice for you : 1. House is super clean - housemate, Stephen cleans the house on every Wednesday. 2. Great Location - there are two bus stop that only takes 3 minutes walk from home. 3. Safe Neighborhood - No homeless, No strangers 4. Nice, lovely housemates - Stephen has BBQ party on every Saturday (I got lot of BBQ! Super tasty) 5. Cute, cozy bathroom - pink wall and sun shine through the window on the ceiling 6. Grocery store - 27 min walk from home (Safeway), 15 min bus ride I was in the US for 7 months, and my stay with Stephen was the best memory there. He was very nice like a real family, and house is very clean. I bet that this will be your best stay in the U.S.!
