Would Not Recommend - Part 1

There is a lot I could say about my experience renting this property, so I'll start with the positives. The property is conveniently located near VCU, less than 10 minutes from most campus parking decks and lots. Street parking was consistently available at all hours, which was a major convenience. The neighborhood generally felt safe, aside from the occasional sound of nearby gunshots. I also noticed that the rental rate is now listed at $1,600, compared to the $1,800 monthly rate I paid. In my opinion, the property was not worth $1,800, but as a travel professional, I was willing to pay a premium for convenience. My lease began on February 6, 2026. Due to travel plans, I did not arrive until February 9. When I contacted the landlord that morning for move-in instructions, I was informed that cleaners would not arrive until later that afternoon. This indicated that the unit was not actually ready on my scheduled move-in date.

Perfect setup for my work assignment. Quiet, clean, and close to VCU/MCV. The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay, and the listing was accurate. The owner was responsive and professional. Would stay again.

Comfortable place to kick your feet up

The place had exactly what I needed no more, no less. The listing matched my expectations, and everything was as described. It was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the essentials for a short-term stay. The location was also a plus, with restaurants and bars within walking distance, which made it easy to unwind after work. I did run into a couple of unexpected issues that were out of anyone's control, but the host was quick to respond and did their best to resolve things as fast as possible. Id recommend this place to other travelers or professionals looking for a reliable and conveniently located stay.

I am glad I came across this property! Is a nice and quite stay! 10 minutes away from VCU so the commute to work was easy! Minutes away from the grocery store. I would recommend this property to travelers! Very convenient!

Cute & Cozy

This cute and cozy abode definitely suited my needs for my month long stay in Richmond, Virginia. There was no problem at all with the wifi it was fast and reliable , the neighborhood is pretty quiet and only minutes from downtown where I was working. So overall I would definitely stay here again, I loved having a dedicated office separate from the bedroom or living room!
