Private basement apartment

Stayed with this family for my first ever travel assignment. They were amazing to me in so many ways. The basement is large with everything you need. The bedroom has a separate space which is very dark and easy to sleep in during the day. This family will make your time in Roanoke worth it. They are there if you need them and will give privacy when you need. Would stay here again and again.

Great place

I had a great time staying here. The family is incredibly nice and personable. I stayed here for my first healthcare contract and have little to no complaints. Family respects your privacy and I felt very safe staying here.

Cozy, Quiet Stay

I could not have asked for a better experience. I had the entire basement to myself and if the family needed to come downstairs for something they gave me plenty of notice beforehand. It was clean, cozy, and felt like home for the 6 weeks I stayed. The only downside is you have to walk down a small hill through the grass to get to the entrance, so not good for someone who is less mobile. The plus side is you have your own entrance with lock and key! I had to work some overnight shifts and I had no problem sleeping during the day as the bedroom is very dark and quiet. Would definitely recommend this to any travel medical professional or student!
