I rented from Dawn and her husband for an entire year! Came to Bakersfield as a traveler to work at Bakersfield Memorial, thinking I’d be in and out in 3 months. Dawn and her husband are the sweetest, Christian centered, family oriented family you'll ever meet. They really made their place feel like a home away from home for me. They welcomed me to be a part of any family celebrations and holidays. Dawn surprised me on my birthday with sweets and balloons :) I could choose to be secluded in my room or a part of the family downstairs. I always felt welcomed to join and didn't feel l had to hide out in my room. Love their house and their family and the space they provided for me! You won't regret renting from them. You actually might just stay a year too ;) this place is a steal for what you get, and a great location to the hospitals and anything in town, and in a safe area of town.
