Amazing place for a medical student with family

I can’t recommend this apartment and the landlords enough. As a medical student and veteran, they were super understanding of my situation and let me pay a few months in advance with my financial aid. Everything is included—utilities, internet—and they even connected me with a cleaning service. The two-bedroom apartment in Douglas Park is fantastic—clean, spacious, and recently upgraded with new appliances. It’s just an eight-minute drive to Humboldt Park Health, seven minutes to the VA Hospital, and 12 minutes downtown. Plus, it’s near La Villita and plenty of shops and cafes. Overall, a perfect, safe, and convenient spot with great landlords!

Highly recommend--amazing stay

From the start, what caught my attention was the price! A 2 bed, 1 bath at this price point felt almost too good to be trueespecially as a medical student on a tight budget. Thankfully, it lived up to the listing and exceeded expectations in many small but meaningful ways. The home had thoughtful touches that made it feel comfortable and lived-in, not just a basic furnished rental. Laundry on the same floor was super convenient, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the unit was always quietperfect for studying. I felt very safe in the neighborhood. There are plenty of parks within walking distance, and its peaceful and great for unwinding. Austin was amazingclear, responsive, and kind throughout our 8-month stay. We felt respected and treated like family. The location was perfect for rotations, the gym, and groceries, with easy parking. Id highly recommend this place to medical students and travel nurses, and Id rent here again without hesitation.
