Awful experience

I moved into Sara's place with the intent for staying for 3 months. I paid a security deposit for $500 before I moved in. However, a few days in I was able to secure a place that was better for my needs so I moved out within a week. We did not have a lease agreement and it was a verbal month to month situation. When I handed in the keys, she texted me that I was rude for leaving the apartment. For those of you looking to stay here, Sara is shady. Her apartment is unclean, and she's unprofessional. I agreed to pay her my prorated share for the few days I was staying there so I should have received over $200 back but she's ignoring my calls and texts.
