A Hidden Gem in Shasta Lake

My husband and I found an absolute gem in Shasta Lake. The location was perfect for traveling to work and offered incredible privacy we often forgot we were even on someone elses property because it's so thoughtfully placed. We loved the pool, cozy outdoor seating area, and their amazing dog, which made it feel like home since we used to have the same breed. The king-size bed was unbelievably comfortable, the water pressure excellent, and the property was quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing after long workdays. We also loved the giant TVs in both rooms, which made it even more comfortable. The cottage was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed. If anything came up, Shannon and Andy were instantly there. They were the kindest, most respectful, and attentive hosts, always honoring our privacy while making us feel genuinely cared for. By the end of our stay, they didnt just feel like hosts they became friends. Highly recommend!

The Palm Cottage

The Palm Cottage was easily my favorite housing in 5 travel assignments I've done. It is clean, comfortable, and safe. Loved the entire setup, a beautiful shared property with plenty of privacy. The location is perfect- you are a quick walk to the grocery store, a great coffee shop, and even a couple of places to eat. It's only a short drive to downtown or out to nearby hikes and my commute to the hospital was mindlessly easy. My partner had plenty of room to work from home. Shannon and Andy are genuinely great people. Their attention to detail is evident throughout the property, and they are quick to make personalized accommodations. If it weren't for other commitments, I would have extended my stay without hesitation. If this is available while you are in the area, do not pass this one up!

Awesome stay in redding

The property itself is fantastic. The pics dont do it justice. Everything is like brand new and the place is very spacious. The best part of the stay though is the people you will be leasing from. Shannon and andy are absolutely fantastic. Very accomodating and friendly! One of my favorite places i ha e stayed thru FF. They made the stay so easy and fun. If you need a place to stay for awhile this is where you want to be! Hope this helps anybody looking. Enjoy and tell shannon and andy hello from there favorite lineman.

What a wonderful property and host! This comfortably decorated and masterfully furnished apartment was instantly a welcoming and safe home.As a pet free residence the host's animals welcomed attention. Mutual respect of personal privacy and boundaries were so perfectly offered during this visit. Laundry was accessible and housing was inspiring. Safely nestled in Shasta Lake proper this home offers walking distance to morning coffee, wine tasting, local dining and parks to enjoy. A comforting train whistle reminds you of yesteryear while being sounded with modern comforts and cool air. 10/10!
