best place ever

Since I arrived at the house and was welcomed by Laurie and her son Jonathan, I felt immediately at home. The house is beautiful and very clean, beautifully decorated and the surroundings are very safe, the neighborhood is full of trees. There are stores and supermarkets at minutes from the house. Laurie is very accommodating and attentive to the details. I recommend her 100% I loved staying in.

Laurie is a fabulous hostess with a warm heart and an inviting home. She makes every effort to make you feel welcome. I would love to stay with her again on my return.

Great place to stay

Laurie and the apartment where I stayed for a week were both wonderful. Exemplary. The place is nice, it works well, and Laurie is as supportive and accommodating as they come-- as well as being dedicated to making the property even better by making little improvements. I was sorry I couldn't stay longer ( I was hoping to--hoping my job would last longer.). I definitely would go back if I needed to.

Lovely Host

We relocated to Vancouver from Michigan and really appreciated Laurie as a host, shes lovely. Great neighborhood and so many restaurants in the area. We also enjoy the shopping near by. Getting to the basement apartment can be a challenge especially during rain and at night.

Feels like home

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and to be the first renter. The basement apartment is decorated beautifully. It remains cool in the summer heat. The neighborhood is very quiet, and it's the perfect place to enjoy going for a daily walk. The neighbors I met were friendly. The landscaping is green and gorgeous and you have your own deck to enjoy. It receives the morning sun, and goes great with a cup of coffee. Oh, there's a delicious coffee shop only a one minute drive away. It's close enough to restaurants and grocery stores, and only a 15 minute drive to the Vancouver waterfront. Also, it's only a 10 minute drive to some great nature walks around Lacamas and Round Lakes. Laurie is an amazing host. She is friendly and funny. Our sarcastic humor led to lots of laughs. She is receptive to visits with good conversation. Even her friends that visit are a joy to be with, and I never felt like a stranger. Call her, you'll enjoy making this basement apartment your home.
