Great hosts and a great house
I moved to Baltimore from the UK and from the minute I contacted Darren and Dianne they were incredibly kind and helpful providing me with tips on local gyms, restaurants and even buying an electric kettle so I would feel at home. This kindness continued throughout my stay where they would frequently check in and respond to any issues very quickly. The house was perfect - really nicely decorated and incredibly well equipped. I really enjoyed the proximity to the harbor and Fells point. I found it very easy to get everywhere on foot nearby. I would recommend looking at the activities being put on in the local Patagonia store that is 2 blocks away - yoga, film nights, book clubs etc and all in a beautiful space. I love running and found many nice routes in Patterson Park and along the water. I really enjoyed my stay in Dallas Street and it was the perfect spot to explore Baltimore and settle in from.
Fabulous Stay
I came to Baltimore and stayed at the house for my summer internship with the NIH at Johns Hopkins. Choosing the Dallas St house was the best decision! It's a beautifully set up home with everything I needed for a long-term stay. I was especially pleased with the kitchen - I found all I needed to cook for myself and the kitchen itself was a pleasure to cook in. It felt like a home from the very beginning of my stay. It's location was great for me - on the bus line I needed to get to work each day, a Whole Foods a block and a half away and excellent restaurants in easy walking distance. I didn't have a car but didn't find that a problem at all. If you have a car, parking is easy to find and safe. My parents came to visit and street parking was never an issue. Darren, our host, was wonderful - very informative and helpful as I made the reservation and immediately responded to questions. You won't go wrong if you choose this house for a stay!
Home Away from Home
This property is absolutely amazing. The location is unbeatable with walking distance to Fells Point, a myriad of cafes and restaurants/bars, super close to a parking lot and Whole Foods, and, if you like walking like I do, also super easy to get to Patterson Park or Target by foot! The apartment itself is like a little haven - its bright, the decor is beyond adorable, and spacious. The beds are comfortable, super convenient dishwasher and laundry in unit, heating and air conditioning and a bathroom that looks like you are walking into a spa. To top it all of, I would have to say that the best part and what truly made it feel like a home away from home is the genuine care and attention from the landlords - such kind hearted people and extremely communicative, addressing any matter that came up. If you get the chance, stay here!! You wont regret it - I miss that apartment and I know you will have a wonderful experience!!
