The original log cabin structure was built in the 1920's and was first used as a motor-court tourist cabin. A newer, light-filled addition houses the kitchen and living room. Property Review
The $1000 deposit is not refundable. I left the place cleaner than I found it and with no damages. They only returned $400. I would make the lease clear to future short-term stay tenants. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay at if you're there to enjoy asheville!
