Amazing Stay

I staying in the Unique unit for my 3 month stay in the Portland area. Gigi and her husband are absolutely wonderful to work with always available and reachable for questions or concerns. The unit was clean and well kept and huge plus having laundry available just downstairs. I personally didnt have a car during my stay but there was always parking in front of the unit. I worked at OHSU and commuting without a vehicle was easy either via Uber or the Ariel tram down to the street cars at the bottom of the hill. I highly recommend this unit and Gigi. I would absolutely stay again should the opportunity arise!

excellent!

I stayed in 3 of Gigi's units (Unique, Sky, and Oregon) due to my own scheduling circumstances during my time working at the VA for 3 months. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better living experience. Each unit was excellent. Well stocked, clean, and very cute. We didn't have trouble with parking. The laundry room was clean and convenient. I always felt safe in the area and in the apartments. Gigi and her husband were so kind and accommodating, very easy to work with, and just lovely people. Definitely don't hesitate if you're planning on working at any of the hospitals nearby; I had a 10-min walk to the VA. Couldn't have asked for more! :)

Do not recommend

I've been traveling for five years and this is the worst property I've stayed at. The unit itself is separated from another unit by a bedroom door. You can hear everything. Snoring, talking, fighting, among other things. Parking is nonexistent during the week so once I found a spot, I was only able to leave on weekends. So many ants, which I should have known would happen since they had ant traps set up in every corner. Mice in the unit, and there was one dead rat at the bottom of the steps. Only pro to this rental is the proximity to the hospital, I will be returning to OHSU, but will find better housing next time.

While we strive to provide a clean, safe, and comfortable spaceas many of our guests have notedits clear that your stay fell short in several ways, and for that, I sincerely apologize. Our unit is located in a quiet hillside neighborhood near OHSU, surrounded by two empty lots next to our apartments, and weve never had prior reports of excessive ants. That said, your comments are important, and we will be taking them seriously to address any concerns that may have developed during your stay. We also wish you had reached out to us directly at the time about the noise, as we are always happy to respond quickly to guest concerns. Regarding the parking situation, we do note in our listing that a dedicated parking spot is not provided. To help with this, we include a city-issued parking permit so guests can park on the street in front of or near the apartment. Since all street parking in the area is managed by the City of Portland, it's unfortunately outside of our control. I do want to kindly point out that you chose to extend your stay with us for an additional three months. That made it surprising to hear such strong criticism afterward, as we assumed your extended reservation meant you were reasonably comfortable overall. Nevertheless, we respect your opinion and appreciate you sharing your experience. Were always working to improve, and your comments will help us do just that. Cute studio Apartment!

Close to OHSU (<5 min walk). Studio has like new kitchen appliances. Studio includes necessities to help start out. The owner is great and easy to work with!
