Nice quiet property

This place was very nice. It's on a private property owned by the landlord. It's beautiful and peaceful. Everything was ready when I arrived. She responds to requests or any issues promptly. This place is perfect for health professionals in the area for a short, or even a long, amount of time. I highly recommend staying here and renting this property out.

Clean and peaceful

I stayed here for several months while searching for a home. Carolyn was a kind and gracious host, very easy to work with. The cottage was clean, quiet and safe. The pellet stove kept things warm and cozy through the winter months. I would absolutely stay here again.

Please read before you book

I stayed here for about a month but the plan was to stay for 3. A few weeks after I moved in this lady was watching me through her camera and seeing when I would come and go and she would enter my place often times without letting me know. All the times without my permission on the pretense of letting my dogs out to pee when I did not ask. This never stopped until I told her I was moving out because I found out she was snooping around looking through my papers and going all the way into my bedroom!!! This is a clear violation of rights and this lady is now wanting me to pay her for the remaining 2 months. I do have a lawyer working on this case but I wanted to let other people know of my experience before they get scammed by this lady.

I prefer non-engagement with negative toxic situations. But was advised to reply so here it is. I worked with many Nurses in my career as a Medical Microbiologist prior to my retirement. I witnessed all Medical Staff that I worked with as they put others before themselves with compassion, integrity and respect. Now I enjoy hosting medical professionals for those same reasons. I trust them and have found all who have stayed here to have high standards and integrity. Except for this tenant who sadly chooses to display middle school mean girl temper tantrums rather than accept responsibility for her dogs, and her legal rental agreement that she breached per WA Landlord Tenant RC laws. Her legal council may have pointed out the laws and if so, she made her choice to lash out in anger when she didn't get her way. And she continues to lash out with a series of lies that grow more vile as months pass. As a Nurse, she should be able to recognize personality disorders such as being displayed here. There is only one truth in the accusations above which is: Yes, I entered once, but only once in what I considered an emergency basis. This tenant left her dogs inside, went to visit a friend and did not return until 26 hours have passed. At noon the next day her dogs were frantic, crying and jumping on the door to go out. I looked in the door window and saw huge puddles of urine seeping into the floorboards. Can a human "hold it" that long? I had to help the dogs. I entered, sopped up the mess, let the dogs out, let them play with my dog, and exercise for a while. I then opened the door, while staying outside, and they happily went inside. I can't let animals suffer. Can a human "hold it" that long? All this time I was not able to contact her to ask if I can take them out and after no response and time went on, I made my decision. Later she texted and said she was on her way home and thanked me for taking care of her dogs. 3 or 4 hours passed until her return. That is the only time I entered. I could have called the County Animal Welfare Society, but didn't want those sweet pups to be confiscated when they come to rescue. If this person wants to continue with her tirade, I will no longer waste my time replying. I said what happened truthfully. I find it to be crude to engage further and I feel the need to apologize to those that may have been subjected to the above angry review. I do wish her well but feel sad that I cannot recommend her for future tenancy nor as a pet owner.
