Great Stay!

I had a great three months at Daryl's property. Upon arrival, the apartment was clean, prepared, and well-equipped with necessities. Daryl was quick to respond and attentive the entire stay. The location was amazing, in a safe location and close to many stores, restaurants, and grocery stores. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Daryl's apartment!

Perfect place in Berkeley

I stayed here for 4 months while doing a research semester at Berkeley. The place is great, a studio in the basement of a georgeous house. For being in the basement, there is a lot of natural light. Everything you need is there, full kitchen, full bathroom, storage, tastefully furnished and decorated. Very spacious for a studio, I even had my two teenage kids visit for a few days and it did not feel crammed. You are sharing laundry with the landlords, and the washer/dryer is in the room next to the apartment. The landlords are wonderful people. Super attentive, but very respective of privacy. I felt super comfortable the whole time. Location is awesome. 1 block away from the center of Elmwood with plenty restaurants, cute stores and a movie theatre. Everything is walkable, and the trails are a 5 minute jogg away. Campus is about a mile, several grocery stores and BART stations within a mile as well.

The loveliest place to stay in Berkeley

I cannot imagine spending my time in Berkeley at a better place than Daryl and Robbs apartment, so Im afraid anything I write in this review wont do it justice. Kind, attentive, flexible, and proactive, they immediately made me feel at home. The place itself feels incredibly cozy, yet its also spacious and functional, with great furnishingsparticularly the sofa and the bed. The location makes it a perfect base for wherever you need to go in Berkeley or the greater Bay Area: shops, cafs, and restaurants are right next door, and BART is just a 15-minute walk away. And yet, the street is wonderfully quiet, safe, and tucked away from the citys bustle. Even though the apartment is connected to the rest of the house, it truly feels like its own space. I miss this placeand especially Daryl and Robb. I cant recommend it enough.

Fantastic Studio with Wonderful Landlords in Prime Berkeley Location

The landlords are fantastic! They cleaned the place so I could move in immediately. It was perfectly furnished, with an incredibly comfortable couch and bed. The kitchen was perfect, including all the cooking supplies needed, which made cooking at home a breeze. I was impressed by the attention to detail in the decor and how everything felt just like home. The location is excellent, in a nice part of town with charming coffee shops and diverse cuisines nearby. The affordable laundromat is just a 5-minute walk, making laundry day convenient. The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming, and I enjoyed taking walks around the area. There were also convenient stores and markets within walking distance. My time in Berkeley was fantastic, thanks to the great landlords and this wonderful studio. They were always responsive and attentive to any needs I had. I absolutely loved staying here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place in Berkeley!

Perfect Bay Area Studio

I can't say enough good things about this property! It immediately felt like home with it's cute & cozy furnishings, and very comfortable bed. I loved how big it felt for a studio, and had plenty of storage space. All the appliances worked great, including the fireplace (my favorite feature!). I loved the neighborhood. It felt very safe, and it's clean, beautiful, and very walkable. There's a lot of local restaurants, shops, & a laundromat within a couple blocks, and several grocery stores within a 10 minute drive. BART is about a 15-20 minute walk from the house. It really feels like your own space, with the private entrance. Even though it's connected to the rest of the house, it was very quiet, and the owners are very considerate people. They were the best landlords, very attentive to any issues, as well as some of the nicest people I met while staying in California. I miss my time staying here & would rent this place again in a heartbeat if I were to move back to the Bay Area!
