Cottage 3 Miles to Both Mission Hospital & The Veterans Hospital

Couldn't ask for anything better

Judy's cottage is such a gem. It's well cared for and immediately felt like home for us. It's a small space but with a functional layout. It felt like the perfect amount of space for us. Our favorite part was the back patio and the mountain views, all while being about ~10 minutes from Downtown Asheville. Judy is a great host and I highly recommend renting from her. We hope to be back in the future!

Beautiful Home & Amazing Host

The cottage was absolutely beautiful, spotless, and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay! The neighborhood was charming, peaceful, and very well maintained. The location was perfect and made it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. Judy was an exceptional host-friendly, responsive, and incredibly attentive throughout our stay! We truly appreciated her hospitality and the care she put into making my dog and me feel welcome. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this cottage to anyone visiting the area. Perfect 6-week stay!

Judy was a great host! She's always reachable and clearly takes care of her house. We ended up extending our stay because we really enjoyed the house and location, and Judy is really easy to work with. We arrived to a very clean and well-decorated house. Judy even created a personalized gift bag for us and my cat! The location of the house is also very convenient- to get around in Asheville, everything is about 10-15 minutes away at most. For anyone with pets who go outside, we did see some bears a few times walking through the backyard in the mornings but they never caused any problems - just something to be aware of. We would've stayed longer if the house wasn't already booked up!

Amazing One Month Stay

We loved so many things about our stay! The home had an authentic farmhouse charm while still offering all the modern comforts and amenities. The stunning mountain views and wide-open space made us feel like we were truly out in the country, yet it was only minutes from the hospital and very convenient to downtown. Everything was spotless, and the kitchen supplies and linens were high quality. The owners were wonderful — always just a text away if we needed anything, while still giving us complete privacy and making the home feel like our own. We never actually met them in person, but communication from booking through checkout was seamless and easy.

Incredible place and setting.

The Cottage is in a great location for AVL, easy access to many things. The setting is beautiful and the huge backyard was a big hit with the grandkids. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, etc. Great neighborhood to get out and walk. Sit on the front porch and watch the sun set.

Hidden gem

Truly a hidden gem in Asheville area. Cozy, comfortable home with truly everything you need for your stay. Morning coffee on the backporch with the view of the mountains was a great way to start the day. Easy access to area attractions and one of my favorites was a ride on the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. Can't wait for my next visit already scheduled for fall. Owners just a phone call away if any questions or problems.

Excellent Long-Term Stay Convenient Location

My husband and I stayed here for two months and we loved this location. The home has both a front porch and a rear porch with an outdoor dining area. We loved watching the sunset from the porch and the sunrise from the rear. The neighborhood feels very safe, people are always out walking their dogs and chatting with each other. We loved having a washer and dryer and having two bedrooms gave us a little room to spread out. He used the dining table for his remote work area and I used the small desk in the spare bedroom. It's a beautifully restored home close to anything we needed with plenty of off-street parking. Within 10 minutes or less, we had a Wal-Mart, Target, hospitals, the Biltmore Village, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. It was a quiet place to sleep at night and easily accessible to all the places we needed to go. The hosts are amazing and very responsive, I would not hesitate to stay here again!
