No place like home!
I recently rented a room at this property, and it was an amazing experience. Christen, Maddie, and Rufus were the best hosts! They provided a warm, welcoming home and were incredibly accommodating. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to both food options and gym facilities. There were no problems throughout the months I stayed there! If you want a home away from home, I would highly recommend it!
Basement Room
Christen's home is incredibly nice, well kept space with tons of amenities. She pretty much has everything you will need and then some. Her kitchen, washer/dryer etc are all modern and easy to use. The house is well maintained and clean. The basement room is spacious and quiet. Christen offered to have the basement room cleaned with her regular scheduled cleaning service. Her house is in a quiet neighborhood with convenient shopping and restaurants nearby. Additionally, its central to areas like Estes Park, Ft. Collins and Denver. Christen is friendly and personable host with two super cute, sweet dogs. It was so nice coming home to be greeted by these cute dogs. I highly recommend her space if you are working in the area.
Great experience!
I had the good fortune of living with Christen while I completed a month long intensive training program. From day one I felt at home. Christen is incredibly warm, welcoming, and a joy to be around. She has two very friendly medium/large dogs, with whom I loved to cuddle. Cleanliness: Despite having two dogs, Christen kept her house clean. However, it was not soooo clean and orderly that I felt like I had to tiptoe around the house lest I disrupt something or feel judged if I leave a water bottle on the counter a little too long. It was the just-the-right-amount of clean to make you feel comfortable at home. Kitchen: Christen was generous with storage space for kitchen/food supplies. I was able to cook meals and never felt like I was in her way. I also had access to her spice cabinet if I was missing something. Bedroom: I rented the upstairs room which is right across the hall from Christens bedroom. It was plenty big with enough storage space that I didnt feel like I was living out of my suitcase. Bathroom: If you rent the upstairs room, you have access to a bathroom at the end of the hall. This is the guest bathroom, so from time to time others may use it. Christen also allowed for ample space for toiletries and the like in the bathroom closet. Safety: The front door has a keyless lock for which you will receive your own code. It was nice to not have to deal with extra keys. If you rent the upstairs room you will have to park on the street in front of her house. However, I never felt worried about this. The neighborhood is very safe. I could tell that everyone watches out for one another. Extras: Your bedroom has its own TV if you are into that. I personally preferred sitting with Christen in the living room, petting a dog. I also regularly took advantage of Christens workout area in the garage with different free weight options. The heaviest was 35 lbs dumbbells. if you want heavier, bring your own. Her house is close to grocery stores, restaurants, and a beautiful lake/park. I cant thank Christen enough for a truly awesome experience. It was wonderful coming home from a long day and feeling like I could be myself.
Excellent
My summer rental with Christen was amazing. I stayed in the main part of the house, not the finished basement apartment. It was very comfortable. I had access to a private bathroom, ample closet space in my bedroom, and her beautiful kitchen with storage space for food and any supplies I needed. I often went for morning walks around the lake near the house. There were so many conveniences nearby, like: a local grocer and gas station, coffee shops within 5 minutes drive, and a lovely sculpture garden walking distance from the house. Christen's dogs were so sweet! I'm allergic to dogs, but she kept the house so clean with weekly housekeeper, daily vacuuming robot, and an air purifier, that I was very comfortable! We had great chats and I felt very comfortable with her other renter! 10:10 would highly recommend!! I may try to stay here again during another semester if there is availability!
Great Stay and Very Hospitable!
The downstairs apartment was very nice and was made to feel private. The host was very accomodating and happy to consider any recommendations. She added several pieces of furniture including a mini fridge during my stay which was nice to have. The basement stays nice and cool in the summer and has brand new flooring and windows that allows a good amount of light in. The kitchen has all the basic necessities and is open to use often! The host is very friendly and willing to move things around to allow for more storage space in the kitchen cabinets and fridge.
