Amazing Property!!
I really enjoyed my time here and found this home to be comfortable, convenient, and thoughtfully set up. My favorite spot was the kitchen. It has a beautiful built in solid oak dining table which is where I spent a lot of my time working, and the Wi-Fi was fast! I loved this entire home! The space is used really well and the appliances are also all stainless steel and well cared for. The attached carport was a plus, particularly on rainy days when I could park under the cover and get in the side door without getting soaked! And just when it couldn't get any better, this place is also pet friendly! The large front and back yard gave my dog plenty of room to enjoy. The street this home is located on was lightly traveled and made taking a walk easy and enjoyable. Jelani was a great host and was quick to respond to my questions. The home looks exactly like the pictures, no filters needed! I definetely recommend with no hesitation and I look forward to coming back.
Clean & Comfy
I stayed here with my husband and we loved it. It was close to everything. It looked just like the photos. Very modern kitchen with everything needed to cook and store left overs. We used the large, built-in table space for eating and working on our laptops. Washer and dryer cycles were really quick. I think the beds were the most comfortable we ever slept on while vacationing. There was a dog next door that barked occasionally but he never woke me up and I'm a light sleeper. Actually we met the neighbors and they're a really nice family.
Amazing! Book Now!!
This is my third time staying here, and I can honestly say it never disappoints! This two-bedroom, one-bath furnished home is so cute, quaint, and welcoming. It has everything you need, including pots, pans, and all the essentials, which makes your stay incredibly convenient. The location is perfect-quiet and secluded, yet close to restaurants, grocery stores, and a hospital. The host is amazing, incredibly responsive, and makes everything easy from start to finish. It's also the perfect spot for a staycation if you just want to relax, unplug, and enjoy a cozy change of scenery. I truly enjoy staying here and look forward to coming back every chance I get when I'm in Durham. Highly recommend!
BEWARE!
There was pet hair on the duvet cover. When I pulled back the sheets, there was a large stain on the sheets & more pet hair. Gross! I told Jelani I didn't think the sheets had been changed prior to my arrival. He said "This is totally unacceptable! I have no words. We'll fix it. I'll refund part of your stay or allow you to extend a week on me." He gave me $125.00, adding insult to injury. When the cleaner came the next morning to wash the bedding, she told me there was dog hair on the walls & thought hair also got in the vents, which was why it was everywhere. BE WARNED! On 3/16, I sent Jelani photos of how much dog hair was in the dryer vent and how much was on the Swifter after I had gone over the floor. He said "Thank you for the update regarding the lent hair and your adjusted move out date 3/24." I left a week early. Pros: Carport, location, comfortable bed, well-stocked kitchen (need a toaster) Cons: Barking dogs, stained sheets & dog hair, no cleaning or starter supplies
