Rented sight unseen

So I rented the place sight unseen because I was in a different state and couldn’t visit ahead of time. Just know that the neighborhood isn’t the best— during my stay a man was killed at the Othello train station which is less than 2 miles from the property. The place was not nice when I arrived— mildew on shower curtain and stove bowls were filled with food crumbs and debris which I had to temporarily replace. The chair was stained and had an odor and windows somewhat dirty. Tub was also pretty dirty—there was a moldy hair band wedged in the stopper hole that I didn’t want to touch. I think the pictures show the place before it was lived in. Since I had already paid a non refundable deposit without seeing the place, i went ahead and stayed— there was no time to look for another place. Would i recommend— probably not if you want a clean space in a walkable area. The good news is that the landlord seemed very kind— no complaints there

Awesome space

I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone. Caitlin and her family are very welcoming and respectful. They tend to all my needs and make sure I am comfortable. If I ever come back to Seattle, I will definitely stay here again. Thanks to the owner for creating such a beautiful, loving home for me. I will miss this space and Seattle.
