Great place!
My partner and I loved this location. Plenty of parking, walking distance to Rock Creek and Mt Pleasant, and great access to the bus are just a few main highlights. The back bedroom is ground level so it gets great natural light. The landlords were super attentive and responsive to anything we needed. They do occasionally need access to the storage unit, but always asked permission and gave a heads up before entering. I would definitely recommend this space!

Definitely recommend!
This English basement apartment is beautiful. Everything inside is brand new and fully stocked. Very comfortable and homey space. And the shower in the bathroom is amazing! The landlords live upstairs and are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying here very much, and recommend 10/10.

New, clean and sunny
Stayed here for a few weeks and found it very well kept. Accommodates two people very comfortably. Easily accessible to many parts of DC. Sunny, clean, and quiet. Parking was easy and free which was important to me. Landlord provides a residential pass. Landlords are very responsive to requests and helpful. Gave good neighborhood recommendations as well. Would stay here again and recommend.

Great spot
Stayed here for a few weeks and felt really comfortable. Unit is really new and well taken care of. Appreciated the easy access to every part of DC. This is an English basement apartment but doesnt feel like it because of the size of the windows and location on a hill. Landlords are great and will bring in packages and mail for tenants if requested. Easily reachable by text or call, and quick to fix things we requested.

Honest review
The place itself is lovely, and the landlords are genuinely caring and responsive. However, its important to note that they can be quite controlling, which may affect your sense of privacy. Theyre understandably protective of the unit, but this has led to some tight rules and frequent check-insalmost daily texts. One thing to be aware of is that their contract includes a clause allowing them to access the storage area inside the rental unit at any time, whether youre home or not. This can feel a bit like youre under surveillance. So while the space is nice, just be prepared for a more hands-on approach from the landlords. If you're comfortable with that, it could be a good fit!
