Wow!
What an amazing piece of land outside of Washington, D.C.! The hosts are preserving this huge tract of land and turning it into a farm, with a small petting zoo, neighborhood garden, chickens with eggs daily, a pond, and some extremely old and unique structures around the property. If you've ever had the pleasure of exploring Route 66, you'll find the feel of this property very familiar. I cannot wait to see what things look like after the hosts have had the property for a few more years. I wouldn't be surprised if it makes it into some magazine article. Great job guys!

A very unique stay!
I had a delightful mid-term stay at this peaceful farm. The pond view added tranquility, and feeding the chickens for fresh eggs daily was a unique joy. The host, H, was exceptionally responsive and helpful. The brand-new facilities, including the bathroom, kitchen, and washer/dryer, enhanced the overall experience. Highly recommend, especially for fellow nurses seeking a serene getaway after work.
