Beautiful Austin Gem
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Gails house! Its a very nice location with several shops and dining experiences nearby. It was only 10-15 minutes into downtown for work at UT Austin and for fun activities, but was out of the fray near many outdoor trails. Gail went out of her way to make this place feel like home and even helped out when I got into an accident by bringing me home and treating me to breakfast! I couldn't have asked for a better host as it felt like I had a mom figure watching over me while I was on rotation. She was always friendly and talkative but respected my schedule and space. The 2 dogs, Kiki and bacon, are the sweetest and a nice welcome when returning home. This house is an excellent option for any women doing short term contract work, rotations, etc that want to feel safe and welcome! Highly recommended and adored!

Lakeway
I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Lakeway and at Gails!! She is very kind and welcoming. She has two cute dogs that are very sweet and friendly. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. I stayed with her for 3 months while on a work assignment at Baylor Scott and White hospital. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a short term stay in the area!

I loved my time at Gails house!! Its a unique layout and in a very nice location. I enjoyed that it felt removed from the city but was only 10-15 minutes into downtown, while at the same time being near trails and lots of outdoor activities. Its a quiet neighborhood and very peaceful house and yard. It truly felt like a retreat. I worked at St. Davids North Austin and had a 30 min commute, but the drive was beautiful and easy. Gail is incredibly hospitable and friendly but will also respect your space. But shes fun and interesting to talk to! She also has 2 dogs (I am a dog person so it wasnt an issue for me)they are sweet :) Gails house is an excellent option for any women doing short term contract work either in the area hospitals or businesses! Highly recommended.
