This is a great spacious but very cozy, quiet and relaxing place with great natural lighting. It has an amazing view of the city. You can also catch a great view of the sunset. The back yard is a nice space to lounge and get some fresh.
Cute back yard and large living room
If you like hosting this place has a really cute back yard and large living room. But besides that, there is no laundry, no stove or stovetop, kitchen and bathroom are small, there was only a small closet for storage when I arrived, I had to buy my own dresser (they bought one but it was so small I couldn't fit anything in there). There are a lot of businesses and there is a school on the street so its a noisy area with large trucks constantly passing by and honking loudly, which made this difficult as a night shift travel nurse, also very bright with no curtains, I had to buy my own. The air conditioning worked well in the summer but in the winter the heat didn't reach the bathroom so it was always cold in there. I asked about the water heater in the bathroom because the shower water was lukewarm and was told a plumber would come by but no one ever did. I also had issues with the power, if you use an outlet in the bathroom at the same time as the toaster oven, the power would go out, but the electricity box is in the downstairs tenants business and they are only there monday through friday until 5pm, so if the power went out friday evening (which it did once) no one can flip the switch until Monday morning, I was compensated once but I had to fight for that, it happened 3 times in the 5 months I lived there. I was locked out of the apartment at 3am because my key code expired even though I extended my stay and paid for the next month. I was locked out again at night because the battery stopped working on the key pad and when it was fixed they never properly but the keypad back so I had to use a key for the remainder of the stay instead of the advertised key pad. You do have some privacy since you are the only apartment in the building by you can hear the staff next door whenever you're in the bathroom, the walls were pretty thin, which can making it awkward when using the bathroom. The only reason I stayed 6 weeks longer than planned was because moving to another apartment for only 6 weeks was a bigger inconvenience than actually living there. I asked about lowering the rent since there were so many unexpected inconveniences but they said no. So I am leaving a very honest review and would leave pictures if I could. One last thing they also kept my security deposit for "breaking" a chair. The chair is low to the ground and now its even lower. They also tried to get more money out of me and ask me to pay for day I was moving out because I didn't check out by 11am, but there were no check out rules stated anywhere, when I asked where that information was, I was ignored. But I did have a cookout during the summer in the back yard so the grill and the space was very nice for that.
