Excellent stay & incredible hosts!
I spent about 5-6 months at this apartment while working in DC and happened to be there during one of the worst winters the area has seen in years. Allen and Craig were always incredibly gracious and accommodating to both me and my 50lb Golden Retriever, Jade. The location was super convenient. I could walk to multiple hospitals, and downtown was just a quick bike or scooter ride away. A car isnt necessary, but I never had trouble finding parking when I had mine. Making monthly payments was a breeze, communication was easy, and they were always responsive whenever I had a question. If I ever take another assignment in this area, this would be the first place Id try to book. I truly cant recommend it enough.
Great stay!
This was a great place for me and my 55 pound lab mix. I stayed here for around 2.5 months and never had any issues. Allen and Craig were very kind and responsive and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Also, parking was never a problem. Overall I highly recommend its very new, spacious, and has everything youd need for an extended stay. Good walking neighborhood too!!
Great place!
Allen and Craig were great hosts. They provided any information that was needed to make my stay easy. I stayed for 2 months during a rotation at the hospital and their place was perfect for what was needed. I felt safe in the neighborhood to walk to work and walk my dog with quick access to a nearby park. The apartment was clean and comfortable with the only downside being limited natural light due to it being a basement unit. A parking pass is provided with access to abundant street parking. Easy access ~15 minute drive to sight seeing or walk to metro station. Overall, would recommend!
Great stay, nice area
Totally enjoyed my stay with Allen and Craig. It is a nice area in DC with plenty of food options nearby. There is street parking outside of the property and never had an issue finding a spot. Allen and Craig were always around if I had a questions and communication was fantastic. There is plenty of room and everything you could need on the property. Would definitely recommend at stay with them.
Our Stay with Allen and Craig at Washington DC
We stayed with Allen and Craig for four weeks in their basement apartment. Although the apartment is small, its very efficiently designed, offering ample storage, generous amenities, and quality equipment to meet our needs. Allen and Craig are both very helpful and respect your privacy. I enjoyed watching Craig, who has a green thumb, working on the plants. The location was a big advantage for me, being close to Medstar Hospital. As for potential downsides, some may find it less ideal as its a basement apartment, and you might occasionally hear footsteps from above. Additionally, the temperature control is not in the basement, so the daytime temperature might not be ideal for everyone. However, they provided a small space heater and a powerful fan to make up for this. Parking in DC can be tricky, but our hosts provided a street parking permit, which just needs to be displayed. Its important to remember street cleaning days on Wednesdays and Thursdays for alternate-side parking. We always managed to find a space. Thank you for your hospitality, Allen and Craig
