Very private, no stairs and pet friendly
This is ground floor unit in a home, which was great for me as I can not do stairs due to a knee injury, and it accommodated me being able to move in with my labrador, that helps with my mobility, while I needed a temporary accommodation due to a divorce. The family is very accommodating and Venco, the older gentleman was so helpful with helping with carry groceries in, which he didnt have to do. The unit had everything kitchen related and they even provided extra bedding and towels, since they had been used to short term tenants on Vrbo too.I was very thankful they accommodated me on short notice, and felt very safe, which was my priority with my limitations.
very caring
This unit is in the basement, mother-in-law suite of a family home just minutes from downtown Marietta. The owner was quick to respond if any issues arose, and was incredibly accommodating consistently asking if there was anything that could make the unit better. She bought a grill a week before we arrived because we had suggested that would be greatly used, and she stated Anything you recommend only adds value to what I am trying to rent to others after you." This is a pet friendly property, and she even supplied a cat tree for our cat to watch the birds in the park out the window. She really cares to make your stay as good as it can be.
The sweetest family and pet friendly
I had a fall through with the studio I was supposed to move in and Maria responded to my message immediately and I moved in within hours of us talking. In the main house is a multi generational family that are the sweetest - and dog lovers! They were finishing their backyard fencing and building a runner as I moved in, so my Pomeranian got buddies too! The unit had everything, including plenty of spices and kitchen stuff to cook with - and it was on gas (I love cooking so that was a great plus). I like my units extra cold, so was very happy with the central AC and how cool the unit was - especially cause it was August. The unit has tile flooring so that kept my pup cool too.The unit faces the park and the whole are is very tranquil and beautiful, and it was just 50ft for me to walk into the park from there and go on walks with my dog. Maria literally returned my $500 deposit as soon as we did the final walk through Zelle, and her dad was the sweetest and helped me load my car, while my pup was playing on the deck with their pup. The sweetest family and very easy breezy communication - would highly recommend.
Unsanitary & Hostile Landlord
Property was filthy and had not been professionally cleaned in a very long time. It was disgusting with leftover food in microwave, dead flies in refrigerator, wreaked of wet dogs, shower head broken, and tub was so filthy with scum I couldn't stand to try and clean it any longer. The landlord was hostile and told me to get the F" out of her house next day!! I truly think the whole thing is likely a set up and scamming people. I'm out $1k. She refused to give me my money back after staying one lousy dog smelling night!! The apartment no longer looks like the photos. I would add them here but it won't allow me!
