I couldn't have asked for anything better during my summer contract in Portland! The location was excellent-quiet, charming neighborhood with free parking right outside the door and an easy commute to St. V's. The ADU was homey and bright and the bed was super comfortable. Last but not least, Molly and Gail were extremely welcoming and easy to communicate with. They gave me all kinds of insider info on camping spots and Portland recs! Walking through their beautiful garden, smelling of jasmine, roses, and mint, made it feel like I was in a little oasis in their cute cottage. I had such a good stay here and would come back in a heartbeat.

Incredible location and find

My fianc and I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Gail and Molly's property! The location is fantastic-right next to incredible restaurants, Laurelhurst Park, great grocery stores, and nightlife. It's an easy walk to everything, including public transport, making it super convenient. Plus, free and easy to find street parking! We worked remotely during our stay, and the internet connection was excellent. There was plenty of space for both of us to comfortably work from home. Bonus that it was a really peaceful setting, too. Gail and Molly are the nicest landlords you could ever ask for. They were incredibly accommodating and generous, even lending us a bike when ours broke down! And if you love baked goods-they are amazing bakers. Their dog is also the sweetest companion. We would absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arises. Highly recommend!

Great spot!

My husband and I stayed here while we searched for a house to buy. (Surprise! We found our place right away!) We love the neighborhood, which is great to walk through for exercise, for errands, or to hit one of the nearby parks (especially Laurelhurst be sure to check it out!) The house itself is super comfortable to spend time in. The kitchen is well-stocked, theres plenty of storage space, and the bed is the best. Adding a lot to our enjoyment was always getting happy greetings from the resident labrador, Alva. Gail and Molly are super helpful if you need anything, or will just leave you be if you prefer. You get quiet, privacy, convenience, and abundant gardens.

Spacious Hawthorne apartment

We stayed here for a little over a month and everything was great! Couldn't pick a better location in Hawthorne. Fully equipped kitchen and loved having the separate room to work in. Their adorable doggo who loves a pet is a side bonus!
