Worth Renting Again
I lived in this rental for a couple months for a healthcare travel contract, during 2026. It's a cute place, and provides the ambience of staying in someone's guest cottage. Some things I liked about the unit included the private entrance, the kitchenette, and a comfortable bed. There is also a very large tree in the front and some gardens in the back. The unit is conveniently located near the town. It was also a quick commute to the clinic that I was working at in Salem. The property is located on a fairly busy road (one lane in each direction), so if you have the windows open, you will hear the traffic outside, mostly during the day. Similarly, if you keep the windows open, you also might also hear the nearby trains honking their horns at railroad crossings, mostly during the night. That said, I would still rent this place again if I am ever in Salem. Becky is a very friendly and responsive host.
Great location for Salem Hospital
The unit has all the basic amenities and lots of built ins for storage. Walkable to downtown Salem, the Gov Cup for coffee, and many different restaurants. Only a 5 minute drive to the hospital. While the house is located on a somewhat busy road, you could never tell from inside the unit. The tree outside the bedroom window attracts a lot of birds and I had fun on rainy days just sitting with a cup of coffee and watching them. Becky made our time here so pleasant and comfortable. She is very attentive and quick to address any questions that we had. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here!
