LOVE
My boyfriend, pups and I have stayed at this beautiful cottage for a little over a year while I was a travel nurse. I cannot say enough about how lovely this home is and how wonderful the hosts are. This cottage is right on the water and I loved drinking a coffee on the back porch or winding down at the end of the day watching fish jump and even have spotted a few seals! Downtown bath is less than a five minute drive and it's such a cute and quaint town with restaurants and lots of shops. The only reason why we aren't staying is because we fell in love with Maine and bought a house! Highly recommend staying here!!!
Nature Lovers Retreat
We stayed at J and K's cottage for two months this spring while we were in the process of moving to Maine and buying a home. The cottage is cozy and charming with incredible waterfront views. We loved watching the birds (eagles, ospreys, kingfishers and so many more) from the porch windows and kayaking for even closer views. There is no dock but the neighbors were kind enough to allow us to use theirs. The house is well appointed with an amply stocked kitchen, a comfortable queen size bed in the first floor bedroom and a cozy fireplace in the living room. There is a day bed on the porch if you like to wake up to watching the waterfront. The stairs are quite steep to the second floor where there are two additional small bedrooms. Our hosts were friendly and responsive to any issues that came up. It is a short 5 minute drive into Bath for grocery shopping, stores, etc. We recommend checking out the trail to Squirrel Point Lighthouse and the Nequasset fish ladder.
