The unit is on the top floor, corner - bright and airy, high ceilings, grand hallway entrance, comfortable and spacious living-dining-kitchen cluster. Unique birdcage elevator and wide grand stairways lead up and down - plus a back stairway off the kitchen. Well-maintained classic building in a great location. Freshly painted and floors refinished and new furnishings. Bosch washer dryer stack off the kitchen.

Amazing location and incredible landlords
One of the best, if not the best stay we have had while travel nursing. The apartment is located in the heart of Portland, easy 10 min walk to Maine Med and walkable to almost the entire peninsula (east end and west end!). Bud was an awesome landlord and very easy to communicate with. He worked with us to problem solve any issue that came up and was super nice. I loved the views of the back bay and Mount Washington from the apartment and how much light came in all day. The building felt really safe and has a ton of charm! I hope the next tenant enjoys the apartment as much as we did

Wonderful Stay
Cannot not recommend this place enough! Safe building in a city setting -close to everything. Elevator is classic 20s era design- very cool. Owners are extremely responsive, friendly and helpful as are the neighbors. If you are looking for some historic flair for your stay this one is a two thumbs up!!

Excellence in Portland
My wife and I have been travel RNs for 9 years now, and this has been our overall best experience with both the rental space and owners. This is the top floor of a charming, historic building. The view out of the kitchen and dining room window look out to the nearby cove, Portland neighborhoods, and the tops of the many trees (were looking forward to the changing leaves). This location is premium; allowing walking to work (Maine Medical) and to the copious options for dining and entertainment in downtown Portland and the Old Port area. Your hosts are equally top-notch. They are welcoming, responsive, and gracious hosts. Bud and Julianne are always available to address any question regarding the property, dining, and Portland entertainment. This property and the kind hosts earn our top recommendation.
