Bill and Bernadette are wonderful hosts, and I feel so lucky to have found this place. I stayed here for a year and truly enjoyed my time here. The room is spacious, comfortable, and full of natural sunlight. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and friendly, and the location is very convenient, close to Stanford and downtown Menlo Park. Bill and Bernadette are incredibly kind, caring, and easy to talk to. They made me feel like part of the family while always respecting my privacy and personal space. The pool is a great bonus, and their two sweet cats made the house feel even more like home. I'm so grateful for such a warm, peaceful, and memorable place to live. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming home!

I stayed here from May through August while working at SLAC, a 10-minute walk away. The location was great, but it was Bill and Bea who made this summer one I'll treasure. The house itself was lovely: a beautiful pool, lush greenery, and a peaceful, safe neighborhood. Their two sweet cats greeted me daily, and the kitchen quickly became my favorite room, full of good meals and even better company. What made this stay truly special, though, was how much love Bea and Bill poured into it. They took me out for dinner, brought me along to a car race, welcomed me into their Fourth of July barbecue, gave me rides whenever I needed, and were always there for a warm conversation. As someone so far from my own family, I didn't expect to find something so close to it here. Their kindness never felt like an obligation, it felt genuine, and it turned a temporary stay into a place I'll miss dearly. Bea and Bill, thank you for the love and warmth, you made a home away from home feel like home. <3

The kindest landlords in the world

I have rented this room for my two month stay at Stanford University, and had the best possible experience you can have. Not only have I been staying in a beautiful, spacious, and clean room in a house with a pool in a quiet and safe area, but my landlords became family for me. Everything from taking me to a car race with them, taking me out for dinner, making vegan and gluten-free muffins for me and teaching me how to make mashed potatoes, I have been treated like a true family member. I got everything I needed and more than one could ever ask for. Their kindness was an outstanding highlight that will linger with me forever. Thank you for making this stay so extraordinary.
