Modern Havasu Furnished Home

Disappointing Cleanliness and Unfair Post-Stay Accusations

Home was not clean as expected. Was told there had been no pets, there was dog hair throughout the house, on furniture, floors, vents, drawers, headboards, & under beds. We cleaned when we moved in because the dog hair was getting on our clothes. Took photos & videos upon arrival documenting the condition. At checkout, we followed all checkout instructions. Emptied all trash, wiped counters,& left the home as clean as possible. No cleaning supplies, & vacuum provided was not effective at removing pet hair from carpet. We also took photos and videos of the homes condition before leaving. After checkout, the owner claimed the house was filthy, which was surprising given the documented condition of the home when we arrived & the effort we put into cleaning before we left. We believe we left the home cleaner than we received it. Considering the $150 cleaning fee, we expected the home to be cleaned between guests. The home met our needs, but the accusations after checkout was disappointing.
