Wonderful, peaceful garden apartment

Couldn't have asked for a better experience! We were navigating some unexpected and prolonged construction issues, and Yanie's place was an oasis. The space has been thoughtfully put together, well taken care of, and is comfortable and peaceful. I slept better there than I had in months. Yanie herself has a warm and welcoming presence. She is a clear and direct communicator who operates with kindness and integrity. Location couldn't be better. The surrounding neighbor is lovely; incredibly quiet, deer sightings are common, and it's easy to forget you're only a few minutes drive from Lakeshore and Grand, two walkable streets with many restaurants, shops, bars, post office, movie theatre, grocery stores. Being in the hills allows for an experience that is removed yet close--not to mention a nice view of the sunset from the windows of the home. Recommend Yanie as a host and the Hidden Gem as a place to stay without reservation!

AMAZING PLACE, AMAZING HOST

Staying at Yanie's place was truly one of the highlights of my time back in the Bay Area. The property is a 10 our of 10 for comfort, location, and charm. The art on the walls is lovely, the furniture is comfortable, the natural surroundings and neighborhood streets are wonderful, all the appliances are new and work well, and, perhaps above all, Yanie is an extraordinary host: responsive, kind, generous, thoughtful, intelligent, and makes sure to keep a drama-free, harmonious, artful home for those lucky enough to stay here. I would have stayed longer, had I the need at that time. A true gem. 10 out of 10.
