Beware - never returned safety deposit

I moved in and stayed here for 3 months for work relocation. At first, the owners seemed very nice and accommadating. This remained true for the majority of my stay (minus a TV that did not work and Wifi that went out). What really has made me write this review is that I never received my security deposit back due to the home being "unclean." This was far from the truth. I have asked to see a bill for 4 and a half months and have never received one. They have refused to give me an explanation of charges to take my security deposit without any recourse. BEWARE, you will never ever see your security deposit again and will get very hostile response in return. Also this is ILLEGAL, according to Montana law: "When a tenant moves out, landlords must return the security deposit within 30 days if there is no deduction for damages. If any portion is withheld, the landlord must provide the tenant with an itemized list of damages and charges within 30 days after the rental period terminates."
