BE PREPARED TO NOT GET YOUR SECIRITY DEPOSIT BACK

Landlord, Kim, kept over half of the security deposit ($1,200+), claiming cat hair and stains required a deep cleaning. I've stayed at 5 Furnished Finder properties and always received my full security deposit back. This felt like premeditated mismanagement rather than cleanliness issues. I requested documentation for the charges; the only evidence provided was photos of couch stains already present when we moved in. We later learned Kim hadn't seen the property after move-out and approved the charges based on someone elses assessment. When I requested the remaining deposit be returned, she did not reply. Other concerns included an unkempt outdoor area, internet interruption due to an unpaid bill, and multiple police incidents at the neighboring duplex. The home itself is nice, fully furnished, and close to the beach, but the security deposit experience overshadowed the positives.

Nice property

The unit is in a very nice area, safe and convenient to shopping and beach. It is nicely furnished. The I only negative is the land lord doesn't return security deposit.
